This lovely cabin was built as a home office so our customer could have a nice warm space to work in. The customer wanted to use as much of the garden width as possible to maximise the space. As you can see it is more or less touching the boundary and is 4 meters tall so obviously we had to acquire planning permission.
The front wall is 4.2 meters wide, the cabin is 4.5 meters deep and has an internal shed for garden tools and storage. The roof of the shed spans the width of the cabin which gives more storage or could be used as sleepover space accessed by a sturdy ladder and has a roof window to help let in more light. The main cabin (excluding the shed area) was finished with hardwood flooring, the walls and ceiling were fully decorated with our lovely exposed stained roof rafters.
