Dorking / Sutton Abinger
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the National Lockdown, this family were in desperate need of a self contained cabin so the son could work away from normal daily home life and have his own room / space.
This cabin is a small size Loggers Bothy with one upper sleeping loft and dormer window. It is 3 meters x 5 meters and just under 4 meters in height. This cabin did not require planning permission as it was situated 2 meters away from the boundary so would come under Permitted Development.
It is fully insulated, has Elm Cladding to the front wall and 8" Featheredge to the remaining 3 sides. The roof covering is Western Red Cedar shingles.
